Sikh Wedding La Jolla Estancia Aditi Karan By Aaroneye Photography

Karan & Aditi was a very fun couple to work with. We had the distinct pleasure of shooting a Sikh wedding at Estancia La Jolla, a beautiful hotel and spa. The rustic touches at this San Diego wedding fit in with the natural, elegant themes at the Estancia. It truly was a beautiful experience.

Aditi’s first gown featured exquisite beading on a rich maroon gown and she matched from head to toe in cultural apparel. The rich, lush landscape outside created the perfect opportunity to take one especially breathtaking silhouette shot. After a bright, airy walk outside on the grounds the guests gathered inside to view a simple, intimate wedding ceremony.

The second dress that Aditi wore was a modern, white bridal gown and she held a bouquet of maroon flowers to fuse the two events together. In the open lawn area the backgrounds of La Jolla didn’t need to be covered or dressed up in any way. Inside, the reception showcased the elegant, modern flair of the second ceremony. Centerpieces brought a natural twist with crystal draped branches and the table settings were rustic and simple with burlap accents. The coloring, while minimal on the tables, created a major impact with lighted accents on the walls of the reception space. A neutral, slated ceiling held swirling metal chandeliers which matched the winding braches in the centerpieces. Simplicity was a common theme across the entire reception space, including a super chic, plain white stacked cake with an attention-grabbing, handmade cake topper in plain view. The rich elegance of this La Jolla wedding didn’t need all the glitz and glamor, it was naturally beautiful and romantic.
