Garba Sangeet Indian Wedding Photography in Chino

Anuradha and Jetish’s Indian Sangeet was held on July 2, 2011 in Chino, and there were around 200 guest at the event. Brilliant performances and great food was offered on that night. Anu and Jetish have truly great friends as the Sangeet night was mostly about them expressing their love towards the couple. An Indian wedding is not just a wedding but it is considered to be the uniting of two souls and as such it is very important to celebrate the occasion with Indian wedding sangeet.

It is a very big occasion and calls for the Indian Sangeet right celebration

Two individuals would be tying the matrimonial knot and they would be spending their entire life together in matrimonial bliss. As is the tradition, such on occasion does not just mean the uniting of the two people who are getting married but it also means the unison of their families. And as Indian families can be pretty big, this is definitely not a small issue.

Indian weddings are resplendent with pomp and splendour and they are almost like a festival filled with all kinds of colors and favors. Most of these weddings are spread over quite a few days and as such the traditional Indian sangeet that is played at these weddings plays a very important role.

What is so very special about Indian wedding sangeet?

There are various kinds of Indian Sangeet that are played at these weddings and this is not just any kind of song played at the whim and fancy of anyone at all. These songs have meaning and they are played for a very specific purpose. These songs are a very crucial element of an Indian wedding and no wedding would be complete without it.

This sangeet is a tradition of sorts and it has been part of the Indian wedding ceremony, for centuries now, all though there are new songs that have also been added, with the change in the years, as a result of the demand of the wedding guests and the families of the bride and bridegroom. This demand has been due to the popularity of the songs.

It would not be an Indian wedding if there were to be no Indian wedding sangeet

The music that is played at an Indian wedding is part of a strong culture that has been passed down over the ages. It is true that at most of these weddings they play songs from Bollywood movies. But this is not just because they are popular songs from movies that are or have been great hits, but it is due to the fact that many of these songs are very significant to the different moments of the wedding.

The songs that are played at traditional Indian wedding ceremonies are mainly songs that are related to specific events taking place at the wedding. For instance, when the Mehndi event is taking place, Mehndi is the application of Henna on various parts of the body, then the songs that would be played at this time, would be associated with Mehndi.

Different songs for different events

The beauty of Indian Sangeet is that it is so very fast and there are so many different songs that are available for so many different occasions. If there is an event at the wedding that calls for singing and dancing, then all kinds of songs are available just to celebrate this particular event.
